America in March

Don’t go!

On March 31, 2013, Christians will take to the streets in their automobiles. Relying only on the divine protection of Jesus Christ, they will prove that the Savior of Man will not abandon them when they remove their hands from the steering wheels of their cars for a total of 5 minutes.

They will not be at a red light, or a stop sign, they will be on the highways. This is TRUE FAITH. Jesus Christ does not abandon his children, and with the current state of the world, it’s time to show Jesus that we have not abandoned him. Do not come to this page telling us that we are crazy and that we are going to die. Jesus is our Shepherd, and he will tend to his flock. Please join us and show that you are NOT AFRAID to place your life in the hands of Jesus Christ.

I’m not making this up – their Facebook page.

    Got to be a piss-take.

  • Sadly, I think it’s real – all set for Easter Sunday next year. :0

I’ve nothing better to do that day.
Think I’ll put my life in the hands of the Lord.
    A1 here I come… Alleluyah!!

  • Ah Mr. Darkglow, you are a brave man! The A1 is a test of faith at the best of times, never mind not using the steering wheel.

Last time I was on it, the fog was so thick I was travelling at 35mph and could only see about 30 feet ahead. That was scary.

Similarly, I had one of my scariest journeys on the A1.
I thought I was taking a quick afternoon jaunt to North Berwick to see ma & pa, when I was caught up in a rainstorm of biblical proportions (you won’t approve of the wording but you’ll get my meaning). You’d have seen it without your glasses. So torrential was it that people was pulling over to the hard shoulder in fear to wait it out.
Only thing was, everyone was now running the risk of tailing into people that had parked up.

It was like trying to do the Times crossword with your head under the shower.
