Death list – Eric Sykes

My second death list point this week comes from the sad departure of Eric Sykes at the age of 86.

Here he is with Spike Milligan who had a far greater comedy influence and will have a greater legacy than Sykes. I’ll remember him best as the long-suffering butler to Terry Thomas’ caddish roles in such 60s classics as Monte Carlo or Bust and Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines.

So 14 down and 36 left standing.
