not a thing of great beauty and awe?

On-going research, some scrimping and saving, together with the sale of my “other” Canon G9 mean that this wide-angled, fast, red-buttoned lovely could soon be mine.

I like the f2.0, I like the 24mm – 60mm zoom, I like the build quality, I like the  image quality I have seen on images around the web, but above all I like the compactness.

Hmmmm…..

Any one willing to take odds on whether I purchase this?
