Chrooting SFTP users in Ubuntu 9.10

After quite a lot of internet research today, this is probably the most efficient and reliable way to lock SFTP users to their home directories using Linux and specifically Ubuntu Server 9.10 and OpenSSH 5.1.

Let’s assuming you have Open SSH installed and running, as well as that most helpful admin tool, webmin, although of [...]

Alliteration

I do admire alliteration amongst protesting placards.

Cider

Proof in the budget this week that Government is too large to tackle problems precisely. Cider has seen a 10% rise in duty from Labour. You then have that Tory cunt Cameron come out with things like this promise to crackdown on strong cider which,

Road Trip – 10th March

My day started in Starbucks, mainly because they have free wi-fi and I was too tight to pay £12 a night to the hotel to use their broadband service. Thank goodness for the internet, because there are a number of web sites available for us lovers of farmhouse cider. These list the draughts available, rating [...]
