This weekend I have been mostly listening to Bach’s Little Fugue in G Minor – BWV 578. It is sublime. I should be buried to this. No priests please. Follow it if you wish. So here’s a picture taken in London in 2002 with a friend’s camera. She had the most pneumatic and beautiful lips on the planet. They were astonishing and she hated them – crazy mixed up kid. [...] So Michael Jackson is dead. The most talented and awe inspiring musician and performer of all time… or A pill-popping, surgery addicted, debt ridden spendaholic, child abuser? You decide! So with unfortunate bad timing, my sixth point this year, Farrah Fawcett dies on the same day as Michael Jackson. I doubt anyone would have had Michael Jackson on their death list, although it would have been an inspired choice. Poor Farrah. On the upside though, I now have a new record of death [...] I’ve just watched both series and the Christmas specials of The Office. All I’ll say is that Ricky Gervais has done awfully well for himself, stretching one joke that thin. The comedy of embarrassment pales quickly. Ahhh look at the cute little piggy paddling in the sea… This one however looks a bit snide, a bit superior. I think his name is Jason – there is a look about him that reminds me of someone… [...] Just over the 3 mile mark tonight, achieved by changing the route to include just one new street. Boy was it hot tonight! I’ll do a couple of more days of this route and reserve a stroll round Inverleith Park as a special treat for the weekend. [...] |
