Slackware new logo

As you will know there is only one Linux distribution for me, Slackware Linux. As the old joke has it, “The best from 1995.”

Well in an attempt to modernise the image of Slackware, version 12.1 introduced for the first time ever a graphical splash screen.

Uptime record still on track

I’m pleased to announce that my Slackware 12.0 server is still up and running and serving you this blog at an all time record of:

So just a couple of months to wait for the magical 365!
