This week I have been mostly watching series 1 of It’s good to see it once more, even though one knows what will ultimately happen, as the action, acting and intrigue are spell-binding. So too are the two leading ladies. I don’t know who’s more attractive, Jack’s wife Teri played by Leslie Hope (yes [...] Getting most of the bandwidth – downloading Linux ISOs from Japan and The Czech Republic. Nice. [...] My initial thoughts recorded as the house mates were introduced by Davina. 1. Bonnie: 20 a care worker, and Northern tart. Her most fervent hope for her time in the house is to have a wanking competition. She was booed as she entered the house. She is misshapen. 2. Pete: 24, single and a [...] Did you know that the bus service in Edinburgh can be appalling? If I miss either bus I can take to work, the 14 or 21, which is quite easy to do because the morons in charge of Edinburgh’s transport network have scheduled both routes to be within two minutes of each other, I have [...] Summer is just round the corner. How can I tell? By looking out of my living room window, scouring the sky with my Leica binoculars and seeing – swallows skimming the tree tops eating insects at every turn and stiff winged swifts screeching through the sky. Excellent. It’s been a while so here is a lovely picture of the lovely Daniela Denby-Ashe, as Margaret Hale in the BBC adaptation of North & South.
