I have had a pathological detestation of the Liberals / Social Democrats since 1980. The former were gits and the latter “splitters” from the Labour Party.

I have no sympathy for them, even if they are soon to be wiped off the electoral map. Just wait until the cuts kick in!

I can’t help feeling that your disappointment over lack of penetration (phnaar phnaar) this week may have augmented your liberal abuse (2nd double meaning in one sentence – I should be in politics..).

The comments are however fully justified and I can smell the ‘double burning’ of bread and buttock-cheeks as Cameron uses Nick for his human toast rack.

Hi Scott,

Yes, I make it just under three months – which is pretty much what I expected. The sales assistant in Laings said he would try and expedite the service, but realistically what influence do they have over Omega?

Sadly I’m going to have to sell the Speedy to replenish my savings after all my Canon camera purchases. I’ve had no luck with two new Speedies but it is still a beautiful watch. At some stage, I may buy another one but would definitely go pre-owned.

It will go up for sale on tz-uk.com and TRF early next week after I’ve run it to see what sort of accuracy it has after the service. Someone is going to get a bargain. In essence it’s unused and apart from one minor lug scratch when I changed the strap, it’s mint. I believe RRP is £2,315 – which is £465 more than I paid.

We’ll see what I can get.

Blimey that was away for a while. Was there a price rise whilst it was in rehab? I’ve kept hold of mine. Ironically it appears to be behaving perfectly just now. Still don’t fully trust it when the chrono is running.
